4th day @ Pune - 20th September 2006.

4th day @ Pune - 20th September 2006

Yesterday was our 4th day at Pune.

Work @ Office is almost equal to nil.

Evening after office we (Me & Shauli) met at Gold Adlabs. Shauli had taken a rick & came down.
I had bought a large greeting card during the lunch time from the Archies shop. She was surprised by seeing it.

First had a soothing hot coffee at Cafe Coffeeday.

Then we hopped on to the Croosword to check out on the latest arrivals. I bought the "Zahir" by Paulo Coelho and a stress-softball. And she bought some books on Microwave cooking.

Then we went over for one of the most hilarious movies in town "Lage Raho Munna Bhai". Its one hell of a comedy movie, if there wud have been ample space one cud have seen people rolling on the floor. The story is like this:

Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) falls in love with the voice of the Radio Jockey Jahnvi (Vidya Balan). He is finally given the chance to meet her when the radio station announces a trivia contest concerning the life and beliefs of Gandhiji. He formulates a clever scheme and wins the contest. However, in the process Jahnvi is led to believe that Munna Bhai is a professor of history and subsequently asks him to present a lecture on Gandhi to a community of senior citizens which she takes care of at her home, Second Innings.

Munna decides that the only way out of this situation is to use the days prior to the lecture to learn as much as he can about the Mahatma. He puts himself through an intensive period of study in a library devoted to the life and works of Gandhi. It is during this period of study that the image of Gandhi begins to appear to Munna Bhai. With Gandhi on his side, Munna not only wins Jhanvi's heart, but through a radio show also teaches others how to solve their problems using Gandhi's principles. Soon, however, Munna finds his own life falling apart until he learns to practice what he preaches. The problems he faces lead him to cultivate a new life based upon "Gandhigiri" , particularly non-violence and truth.

The movie ended at 10:30pm.

We then took a rick & went back to the hotel.

Had a hot water bath, hit bed at 11:15pm and slept at around 1am.

That ends my 4th day @ Pune - 20th September 2006.
